Joy to the World, presented in December of 1998 at the First Parish Church in Taunton, took the chorus on a whirlwind journey around the globe. Originally conceived to honor the contributions of holiday music from a variety of cultures, the musical program also afforded us a great opportunity for some visual fun when our journey led us to the Magical Land of Oz. All of the characters of the beloved family classic were brought to life in a 12 minute medley that featured each of the songs from the entire Wizard of Oz score. And the recent official arrival of the BPCC Kids to our group provided the perfect Munchkins to help round out the cast.
