W orld peace was the theme for SMFC's 2008 holiday concert. Held at the Taunton High School Auditorium on December 13, the program featured traditional carols from around the world as well as several anthems of peace. Adorning the stage for the event was a blanket of red poinsettias and a giant "World Tree" for which chorus members donated a variety of colorful mementos from all over the world. On the following day, the group traveled to Bridgewater, MA to present its holiday program to parishioners and guests of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
