SMFC Open Rehearsals
The Southeastern Massachusetts Festival Chorus (SMFC) will begin its 2010 Holiday Season with Open Rehearsals on August 23rd and 30th. The 90-member SMFC is the largest auditioned chorus in the area and is seeking enthusiastic singers who want to learn more about joining the group. Under the musical direction of Eric Brown, the chorus presents two concert seasons each year and participates in a variety of regional and community events. This season’s music program will feature contemporary arrangements of classic and traditional Christmas hymns, carols, and songs and will include a number of solo opportunities.

New members are invited to attend Open Rehearsals on Monday, August 23rd and 30th at 7:00pm. Auditions will take place each evening following rehearsal. Weekly rehearsals are held Mondays, 7:00-9:00pm, at the First Congregational (Stone) Church, Route 104 in Raynham, MA.
